GEC- Global Environment Concern invites you to celebrate the International ozone Day for the Preservation of Ozone Layer on 16 September 2010. The theme for the celebration is “GREEN GANDHIGIRI”.

Take a lead and strive towards the survival of the ozone that unknowingly became an essential for the human life. We call upon the courage, generosity and strength of people, citizens of every class and condition who were ready to take a stand.

The course of event requisites hoisting of placards and banners on all major light points in order to spread awareness and develop consciousness for what stands today might be eroded tomorrow.

On 14th sept. 2010 : DT Cinemas ( with 94.3 fm)
- Enviro Quiz
- Fun Games
- and other Environment awareness programs
(A Lot of prizes to be won! )

On 16th sept. 2010: Green Gandhigiri 
Timings: 9a.m.- 10a.m. 
Volunteers will line up along the light points and will urge the citizens of Chandigarh for a greener future with placards in their hands. 

The timings have been kept in the consideration of peak hours where maximum people would be able to see them.
